The Seattle Times is seeking a Circulation Administrative Assistant to provide confidential administrative support to the Circulation Managers and Directors; manage administrative activities for the Home Delivery; providing backup support for the Circulation Payroll Specialist; budgeting and administrative support for other Circulation departments as assigned. Work closely with Managers and staff develop, support and implement process improvements. Complete special projects as assigned.
Requirements Minimum Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Two or more years relevant experience as an Administrative Assistant, or secretarial/clerical work experience, 3-5 years preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, PC aptitude, accuracy and detail oriented
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency with MS Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word to quickly prepare documents, spreadsheets, and presentations; Salesforce experience a plus
• Demonstrated, consistent high degree of accuracy in all aspects of the position
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to solve problems and maintain confidentiality using appropriate discretion as necessary
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and executives throughout the company and with vendors to meet business needs and foster relationships
• Strong sense of urgency about getting work done correctly and thoroughly and ability to take initiative to clarify expectations
• Enthusiastic team player with strong customer service orientation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates’ degree, 4-year degree
• Proficiency with MS SharePoint
