Description The Sales Coordinator is responsible for successfully scheduling of both print and digital advertising insertion orders. This position maintains ad fulfillment workflow between the AEs, Ad fulfillment, and the design studio as well as training new and current members of the ad fulfillment department.

They are the owner and point of contact for all parties to resolve any ad scheduling, billing, or creative issues. Responsible for the timely and accurate scheduling of all digital display products for The Seattle Times network.

Contributes to the daily operations and overall strategy of Ad Fulfillment at The Seattle Times, ensuring the quality and responsiveness of service meets or exceeds expectations.

Major Functions:

•Works with clients post sale to gather information and assets necessary for campaign fulfillment.
•Prepares scheduling, creative requests and reviews billing for each order.
•Reports any problems affecting order quality, due dates and costs.
•Point of contact for all assigned orders, including troubleshooting and issue escalation.
•High degree of ownership around scheduling advertising products and ensuring accurate delivery through the use of internal tools and systems.
•Test and troubleshoot creative issues as well as campaign reporting discrepancies.
•Take ownership of tools and processes supporting the sales fulfillment lifecycle, including suggesting innovations or efficiencies in workflow.
•Play a role in developing and implementing best practices and processes to improve operational efficiencies.
•Conducts training as needed for new employees.
•Exceptional character with a high degree of integrity and business ethics.
•Very customer service and quality focused with the ability to professionally address client and partner concerns and needs with the appropriate level of expedience.
•Conflict resolution skills required and able to work with diverse personality types.
•Demonstrate technical skills and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
•Must be flexible and open to new ideas and methods.
•Helps ensures successful tracking and reporting of all revenue and revenue-related information.

•Strong oral and written communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate best practices and requirements to peers and management
•Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills are a must

•Ability to understand and explain print and web advertising methods, requirements, technologies, etc.
•Some college experience preferred
•At least one year of advertising and or marketing experience is preferred
•Experience in ad fulfillment, production and operations preferred
•Skilled using Web applications, Salesforce, Excel and able to learn proprietary systems.
