Description POSITION: Rental, Sales, & Events Coordinator
SUPERVISOR: Assistant Center Director
STATUS: Non-Exempt/Part-time (25 Hours/Week)

The Rental, Sales, and Events Coordinator is responsible for the following functions: welcome desk sales support, coordinating rentals, scholarships, special events, and seeking fundraising/grant opportunities. The coordinator will also help provide administrative support to include: accounting support, scheduling, and scholarship administration. The coordinator will also consult with Leadership and provide administrative support in other areas as needed.
1. Available and flexible to work all special events, particularly those held during the evenings and on weekends.
2. Experience with calendaring, processing, organizing rentals and events.
3. Experience with marketing and sales.
4. Must be proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Attention to detail, quality, and professionalism.
7. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain poise under pressure
9. A professional appearance and customer service skills required.
10. Maintain a professional attitude and approach to problem solving.
11. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
12. Ability to work with a diverse population in the capacity of customer service and administration
13. A valid California Driver License and be insurable through The Salvation Army insurance.
14. Able to maintain a valid (clear) driving record/license during employment.
15. Certificate by and participation in The Salvation Army’s Fleet Safety Program on an annual basis.
16. Must have ability to work and relate well with people.
17. Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
