STATUS: Non-Exempt (Hourly - Part-time 2-5 hrs/week)
The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is looking for experienced and enthusiastic Group Exercise instructors that can instruct and develop challenging workout classes for youth, adults, and seniors. This position is responsible for providing dance/fitness instruction, from beginning through advanced levels, to a diverse group of individuals and for developing a comprehensive range of services and activities for dance/fitness programs.

We are currently looking for Group Fitness Instructor positions such as TRX, Personal Training, Body Conditioning, Bootcamp, Cycling, Zumba, etc. Must be available to work flexible schedule including weekdays and weekends. Most positions require late afternoon, evening and/or Saturday availability.
1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Must hold a nationally recognized Group Fitness and/or Personal Training Certification (ACSM, NASM, AFAA, ACE, etc.)
3. At least one (1) year of experience in instruction of Fitness; such as TRX, Personal Training, Body Conditioning, Bootcamp, Cycling, Zumba, etc.
4. Able to work with all ethnic and socio-economic populations..
5. Bilingual skills are desirable; some positions require bilingual ability in Spanish.
6. Energetic, enthusiastic, high energy and positive attitude a must.
7. Must be able to teach and challenge members for a full one hour of cardio.
8. Ability to lift and carry 40-50 lbs.
9. Ability and desire to self-market your classes to improve class attendance numbers.
10. Detail oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a member of a team.
