Description The Salvation Army Family Treatment Services (FTS) is seeking to fill a Full-time Caregiver position at the FTS Diamond Head Keiki Center/Therapeutic Nursery. Under the supervision of the Parent/Child Services Manager, the Caregiver provides nurturing, developmentally enriching therapeutic care to infants and toddlers enrolled in the Diamond Head Keiki Center. The Caregiver also provides guidance and support to parents participating in Therapeutic Nursery Services.


Requirements Applicants must meet the requirements under the DHS Day Care Licensing Regulations for a "Caregiver":

1) High school diploma, 12 months full time experience working with children under 36 months of age in a licensed group care setting, and 12 credits approved ECE or CD training courses, including 30 hours of course work in infant and toddler development from an accredited teacher training program

OR

2) High school diploma, 24 months of full time experience working with children under 36 months of age in a licensed group care setting, and 30 hours of course work in infant and toddler development from an accredited teacher training program.

Valid Hawaii Drivers License Required.
