POSITION: Futsal Instructor
SUPERVISOR: Athletics & Recreation Supervisor
STATUS: Non-Exempt, part-time 2 hrs/week

The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is looking for an experienced, energetic and enthusiastic Futsal Instructor that can instruct and coordinator futsal programming. This position is responsible for providing sports and recreation instruction, from beginning through advanced levels, to a diverse group of individuals and for developing a comprehensive range of services and activities for futsal programming.
1. Must be at least 18 years of age
2. Must be able to work on Saturdays
3. Minimum of a year of instruction experience
4. High School Diploma or higher education required
5. Certifications in respective field preferred
6. Maintain records neatly and accurately
7. Communicate in a clear and concise manner
8. Ability to evaluate surroundings and limit/prevent dangerous situations
9. Spanish speaking a plus!
10. Energetic, enthusiastic, high energy and positive attitude a must
11. Must be able to teach and challenge members for the duration of an athletics class
12. Ability and desire to self-market your classes to improve class attendance numbers
13. Able to work with all ethnic and socio-economic populations
14. Detail oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a member of a team
15. Must successfully complete Protecting the Mission program as defined by The Salvation Army
16. Must be able to function effectively without supervision
17. Must be goal-oriented and self-motivated
18. Must possess initiative and be a self-starter
