Reports to: Clinical Director
Status: Full-time, Exempt
Schedule: Monday-Friday, weekends as needed
(Subject to change with or without notice)

JOB SUMMARY: The IMH and Family Services Coordinator provides agency wide support in Infant Mental Health competency across departments and disciplines. The Coordinator supervises the IMH/Family Services team directly and collaborates with all clinical and management teams, as well as provides direct family therapy services to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Specialized training and/or work experience in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health services. Comfortable with clinical documentation and navigation in data/EHR systems, including billing. Preferred Clinical License (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.) and experience in Reflective Supervision and Consultation (eg. IMH Endorsement, CPP, etc). Valid Hawaii Drivers License required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The position requires sitting; climbing and/or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling; standing; walking; manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; use of vision; pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying 25-50 pounds and occasionally more than 50 pounds; able to travel by airplane.

COMMUNICATION DEMANDS:
The position requires talking to co-workers, clients, vendors; requires written communication to and from co-workers, clients, vendor, talking on the telephones; requires responding to written or verbal requests of co-workers, clients, and vendors; requires training/giving verbal and written instructions; requires receiving verbal and written instructions; requires writing/composing written language; requires reading; requires visiting/working at other work-sites; Ability to communicate via the latest technologies required for the position.

EQUIPMENT NEEDS:
Desktop computer and technology access for telecommuting as needed.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Most work will be indoors and occasionally outdoors. Attendance at trainings, both in Hawaii and on the mainland, may be required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Regular attendance is required for this position
• Participates regularly in Reflective Supervision and Consultation (RSC)
• Provides direct clinical services as well as supervises the IMH Team in the following:
• Comprehensive Infant Mental Health and Parenting Assessments
• Development of Individualized Family plans and strategies
• Facilitation of psycho-educational parenting groups and/or classes
• Family Therapy, Play Therapy, Individual Parenting Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child/Parent Psychotherapy and IMH specific interventions such as preventative check-ins with mothers, staff intervention and dyadic brief intervention.
• Care coordination with external services providers associated with child, including Child Welfare Services and Resource Caregivers
• Documentation of service plans and service delivery according to FTS policy and procedures (ensures and/or delegates services entries into electronic medical records system), and supports with insurance billing as needed
• Facilitates collection, reporting and sharing of data associated with services within the department
• Participates in weekly residential treatment team and/or outpatient treatment team meetings
• Directly supervises IMH/Family service team, interns and volunteers including completion of annual performance reviews
• Contributes to ongoing program development and improvement. Provides input as well as feedback to the Clinical Director regarding needs of the program, effectiveness of methods, and new approaches that might improve services
• Ensures that contractual requirements are met and that there is conformance with accreditation standards in service
• Serves as a member of the Joint Management Team and Program Management Team and collaborates with Teams to provide quality family services and consistency across the continuum of care
• Maintains work area in a neat, orderly and sanitary manner
• Ensures that the staff, correctly promptly follow specified agency procedures required for the appropriate handling of all Emergency Response Codes

OTHER FUNCTIONS:
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Able to meet basic standards of physical, mental health, and communication demands. Specified by State and/or professional accreditation standards applicable to this agency. Initial/Annual criminal background check, pre-employment, annual physical examination, CPR/first aid, TB test, and driver abstract compliance with agency policy are required.
