Scope of Position
Under the direction of the Divisional Finance Director (DFD), the Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the various accounting and administrative functions of the Finance Department of the Intermountain Divisional Headquarters. Ability to work well in a team setting, be experienced in coordinating multiple projects, and experienced in the Windows environment on personal computers. The successful candidate will be professional in appearance and demeanor and have a commitment to the goals, objectives and mission of The Salvation Army. This is a full-time, hourly position – 36.5 hrs./week.

Duties include the following but are not limited to:
Coordinate agenda, minutes and follow-up for the Command Finance Council (CFC). Process officer allowance reports and vehicle mileage logs. Coordinate DOT issues for the division which includes maintaining the accuracy and completeness of the Authorized Drivers files, the Master Vehicle List and the Department of Transportation Database. Disseminate monthly financial reports to all Corps and DHQ departments. Maintain Finance Department filing and bring-up files.

Requirements Position Qualifications:
• College degree in accounting preferred; associates degree in accounting from an accredited
college/university required
• One to two years computerized accounting experience
• MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Access, Microsoft Dynamics, and FRX Professional
required
• Ability to interact effectively with clients, customers, vendors, Corps Officers, management
and peers
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Minimally 21 years of age and in possession of a valid Colorado Driver’s License
