SEATTLE ADULT REHABILITATION PROGRAM
JOB TITLE: RESIDENCE AND PRODUCTION SUPPORT MANAGER
DEPARTMENT: PROGRAM AND PRODUCTION
STATUS: FULL TIME
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: ADMINISTRATOR

JOB OBJECTIVE:
Under the direction of the Administrator, the Program and Production Manager is responsible for the management of the men’s residence facility, and its beneficiaries, as well as assisting with store production. As a team member in the Rehabilitation area, he promotes a climate for effective performance and learning through his attitudes, willingness to teach and learn and availability to beneficiaries and staff. Encouragement is given to the individual to continue to seek experience and training which will enhance his ability to work more effectively with beneficiaries. He/she is also responsible for all food support services and plays apart in all intakes. Operational support and WTA back up supervisor is required as well.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Program graduate with continuing involvement in a program of recovery is desirable, but not required.
• Ability to supervise beneficiaries as revealed by experience, training, and/or interview.
• Possession of valid Driver's License.
• Integrity, resourcefulness, initiative and evidence of self-improvement.
• Demonstrate ability to support and apply the philosophy and goals of The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Program as stated in the Mission Statement.
• No evidence of existing chemical dependency.
• If chemically dependent, shall be free of and have had at least one year free of any chemical abuse or dependency.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and other office equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly on the telephone.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
PRODUCTION AND FACILITY MANAGEMENT
1. Ensure proper maintenance of grounds and buildings, scheduling needed repairs and other maintenance work within guidelines provided by the Administrator.
2. Provide routine supervision of residence, store, and production, which will include any training needed in daily operations of the program and production.
3. Work with the Department Supervisors to ensure that quality control is maintained for all goods sorted and the maximum amount of quality goods is available.
4. Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and reporting all safety violations. Ensure that all necessary corrective measures and repairs are completed in a timely manner.
5. Secure the all Department at the end of the day by ensuring that all points of access are closed and secured.
6. Assure that established personnel policies and directives (smoking regulation, lunch / break times, Etc.) are followed by all assigned personnel (beneficiaries and employees) and the disciplinary measures are taken when necessary.
BENEFICIARY SUPERVISION
1. Provide orientation of new beneficiaries to the requirements of the residence and the program.
2. Conduct random locker checks as required by review standards, but not less than once per month.
3. Monitor, facilitate, supervise beneficiary activities including prescription medications, house meetings and devotions.
4. Participate in all activities at the residence, maintaining open relationships with all the residents.
5. Supervise and/or administer UA and breathalyzer testing.
6. Act as a role model for beneficiaries, both as a resident of the ARC and as a man in recovery, in personal dress and in general behavior.
7. When required prepare and submit ARCC-210 forms in accordance with current policies.
8. The Program and Production Manager is required to drive a Salvation Army passenger van as part of his duties.
9. The Program and Production Manager is required to maintain necessary records and statistics as directed.
10. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and laws in order to help maintain the integrity of the total program.
11. Overtime. No overtime is permitted.
Other written or verbal duties as may be assigned, from time to time by the Administrator.
