DEPARTMENT: Reno Corps – Social Services
SUPERVISOR: Social Services Director
STATUS: Non-Exempt/ Part Time

The Salvation Army Mission Statement:

The purpose of this position is to assist in Social Services with the collection of food donations.
1. Plan route in accordance to distance and time restraints.
2. Keep transportation log with mileage and destinations.
3. Keep truck clean – no smoking allowed inside vehicle.
4. Successfully complete The Salvation Army driving program.
5. Maintain and submit accurate recording of collected items.
6. Work special events, such as Feed the Hungry and Christmas Distribution.
7. Other duties as assigned by Social Services Director and/or Corps Officer
1. Nevada Class C Driver License.
2. Completions of driving program.
3. Clean MVR from DMV.
4. Ability to maintain mileage, service and donation records.
1. Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis.
2. Ability to grasp, push, and/or pull objects, to reach overhead.
3. Ability to lift fifty (50) lbs.
