This position is responsible for providing case management services during a Meal Engagement Program. The goal of the Meal Engagement Program is to serve a hot, nutritious dinner meal to people in the community experiencing homelessness or housing instability, in hopes of engaging them into services and provide a connection to needed community resources and housing options

Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered for the position in a manner consistent with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative.


-Knowledge of mainstream benefits, homeless services, housing, health and employment resources in the community
-Strong advocacy skills
-Ability to carry out assignments independently and strong time management skills
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Computer literate in Microsoft Office Applications and ability to type a minimum of 45 WPM


-Bachelor’s Degree with one year experience in related field (experience may be substituted in some circumstances)
-Experience working with transitional aged youth experiencing homelessness preferred
-Must be TB cleared prior to employment
-CPR and First Aid Certification
-Knowledge of HMIS preferred
-Must have Class C Driver License
-Clean MVR and ability to drive & transport clients

PAYRATE: $18.00/HR
