Duties and Responsibilities

Will perform tasks associated with natural gas measurement including programming of EFM devices, calibrating electronic meters, installing meter facilities, changing orifice plates, gas sampling and performing minor maintenance of equipment. Must be organized and detail orientation in the carrying out of work tasks.

Requirements: At least two years of mid-stream oil and gas related experience and /or comparable education and experience along with a minimum of one year of natural gas meter calibration. Possess a high school diploma/GED and a valid driver’s license. Willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed for project completion and be able to operate a four wheel drive vehicle in all types of terrain and all types of weather conditions.

Knowledge of: Familiarity with tools and materials for repairs, maintenance and construction. Working understanding and ability to utilize basic computer programs including MS Office. Proficiency in the use of computers for completing calibrations and preparing reports, the ability to read and understand technical documentation, and accuracy when preparing daily and monthly production reports.

Ability to: Able to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds; move items weighing up to 500 pounds with equipment assistance; use various hand tools and hoists; hear; see objects at close range and in the distance; distinguish colors and relationship between objects; apply basic arithmetic; communicate effectively orally and in writing; understand and clarify oral and written instructions; follow company safety practices and policies; handle and maintain confidential information; recognize and respond appropriately to hazardous conditions.
