Description |
Challenging opportunity available for an experienced reservoir engineer. Qualified candidates must have 5 or more years of resource play experience with a background including evaluation of drilling and recompletion opportunities; evaluation of field studies to maximize value and recovery of reserves, an understanding of SEC reserves classification and evaluation, strong computer skills and a good working knowledge of Windows ARIES.
Responsibilities
• Create a comprehensive development plan to maximize value by optimizing well density & hydrocarbon recovery
• Build appropriate reservoir models, including reservoir simulation, to assist in reservoir optimization
• Work with team to maximize value associated with completion strategy
• Provide reservoir engineering and economic evaluation support for an active drilling program
• Evaluate reserves and economic potential of asset acquisition opportunities in area of responsibility
• Work in multi-disciplined asset management team
• Assist with budget, long-range planning, and reserves activities

Requirements |
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Petroleum Engineering discipline preferred)
• 5 or more years of reservoir and/or operations engineering experience (experience with oil plays preferred)
• Understanding of geological, geophysical and development planning / economic concepts
• Proficiency with ARIES, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Geographix, Spotfire, MS-Access, RTA, and reservoir simulations a plus
• Ability to work well with others in a multi-discipline team environment
• Strong communication, presentation, writing and organization skills
