Title HSE Management Systems Coordinator

Description The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and implementation of QEP’s Health, Safety and Environmental Management System. Your primary responsibility will involve working closely stakeholder organizations within QEP Energy to develop and implement local HSE procedures that comply with regulatory requirements and our internal HSE management system standards. This position is located in Denver and is eligible for a 9/80 work schedule.

Primary Duties:

• Direct the QEP Energy HSE procedure development process working collaboratively with impacted organizations.
• Complete and implement procedures within assigned target dates.
• Coordinate the review of Corporate HSE standards by the QEP Energy component and work closely with Corporate HSE to ensure adequate input into the standard development process.
• Develop comprehensive training packages for rollout of procedures.
• Mentor operations and HSE personnel and other stakeholder organizations on the HSE Management System
Requirements
• B.S. degree in related field and a minimum of 8 years oil and gas experience in a HSE support function.
• Excellent understanding of HSE regulations applicable to the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Strong understanding of ANSI Z-10 and prior experience in implementation of HSE Management Systems at the field level.
• Experience in the development of HSE training.
• Prior supervisory experience in an HSE field level function (Preferred)
• Ability to Travel to field locations as needed
