You will support Trisept Solutions’ Travel Merchant Solutions (Synapse).  Our enterprise operating platform delivers innovative merchandising solutions for airlines, hotels and resorts, destinations, theme parks and other travel merchants.

You will be responsible for the roadmap development and execution of their assigned Synapse products, holding the team accountable to deliver product functionality and insuring product performance and profitability.  You will be responsible for the investment plan and ROI for the product. The position requires a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality through execution.  In this role, you will develop product concepts from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on industry experience and feedback from customers and prospects.

A successful Product Manager, Synapse will:

  • Develop and manage the product roadmap using Trisept’s Product Amplifier process. 
  • Make product life cycle and investment recommendations, including determining project ROI
  • Identify customers' needs and desires; synthesizes customer feedback to develop product plans. 
  • Support Trisept’s Gated development process to make decisions on product scope and requirements. 
  • Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product enhancements by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or content and navigation changes, and managing the investment plan for the product
  • Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products
  • Manage, update, and communicate product roadmap (in spreadsheets, company systems, and documentation/presentations)
  • Provide product information/specifications for product line communications
  • Grow product market share by working with engagement team to develop product sales strategies
  • Assure product documentation is completed for each release
  • Coordinate the release  of products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, training, and development
  • Collaborate with third parties and analyzes potential new third party relationships for the product
  • Embrace and hold team accountable to LME Core Values and Unique Processes
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or a related field and at least 3-5 years of leadership-level experience in Product Management for consumer or B2B websites, internet marketing or e-Commerce.
  • Leisure Travel Industry knowledge or experience 
  • Understanding of Trisept Solutions’ Synapse platform and ability to connect the dots with the business application and value of its functionality
  • 5+ years’ experience in a technology driven organization
  • 3+ years of software marketing/product management experience
  • Knowledgeable in technology development processes
  • Business case development experience, including cost/benefit analysis and total cost of ownership
  • Highly effective communication/presentation skills
  • Long-distance collaboration skills experience
  • Experience with current Microsoft software products
