Mission and Vision
- Concordia Plan Services ‘walks together’ with LCMS ministries in caring for workers and their families… so that the Word of God continues to spread!
- Our 2020 vision is to transform CPS from being solely a benefits provider to the most widely recognized source of employer and worker-related solutions for LCMS ministries.
Reporting Relationships
- Creative Team Intern reports to Content Strategist.
Essential Job Functions
- Participates in creative projects to produce materials that support the Marketing and Communications mission (optimal member experience, employer growth and retention).
- Writes communication pieces to share with LCMS employers, Concordia Plan members, and internal staff, including e-learning materials.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assist with creation, quality control and internal approvals of plan change documents.
- Works within assigned department on the collaboration of mail materials, digital media and video production.
- Creates content that supports the marketing channels.
- Assists with the distribution of communication materials with external fulfillment centers.
- Gathers market research for existing and proposed programs to offer innovative ideas and concepts.

Requirements |
Education and Experience
- Classified as college Sophomore, Junior or Senior.
- Minimum GPA: 3.0.
- Majors: Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Mass Communications, Journalism
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
- Systems fluency: working knowledge of MS Office suite, Adobe products, and social media platforms required.
- Communications: ability to articulate information simply and concisely that reflects CPS values (integrity, compassion, excellence, stewardship, accountability) in all internal and external communications.
