Description JOB OVERVIEW
The primarily responsibility of this position is the development and deployment of analytics to support the Global Supply Chain and Global Operations organizations. This includes the gathering, analyzing, and reporting of data in support of the global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, global and regional life cycle management, and inventory analysis and management. The position is also responsible for participating in and, in some cases, leading, cross functional teams that include supply chain, sales, finance, and production to identify close out build opportunities and timing, aging or excess inventory, and proper disposition/reservation of obsolete material. This is an ideal position for someone who loves diving into the details of large data sets to find the best way to measure a process or solve a problem, but is also able to appropriately summarize and present the data in order to interact and make recommendations to different functions and levels within the organization.

• Manage S&OP, inventory, and supply reporting. Identify any output irregularities, manage periodic changes to inputs, and assist with reporting enhancements and additions.
• Analyze aging inventory and projected demand to optimize component inventory at assembly locations.
• Act as a liaison across multiple departments and international subsidiaries to manage life cycle status for all active product models. This includes creating new processes and reporting to regulate and track system life cycles and assure these align with product strategies in multiple global regions.
• Participate in cross-functional team to support the close-out process. Work with demand and supply planners, sales, production planners, and order management to support final builds and close-out orders.
• Coordinate and execute the scrap/disposal plans for excess and obsolete material.
• Become an SAP Business Objects “super user” within the group. Improve upon existing and/or develop new global inventory and operations reporting, collaborating with operations and IT to identify new data requirements or gaps in existing reporting, co-develop solutions, audit results, and ensure successful deployments.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Data analysis experience including identifying appropriate data, acquiring/pulling data from a database, scrubbing/processing, analyzing, and drawing conclusions/making recommendations
• Ability to appropriately summarize detailed data analyses and provide recommendations for internal customers at different levels of the organization including senior executives.
• Ability to work well in, and lead, cross-functional team environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Basic experience with SAP ECC and APO or other similar ERP/ MRP system preferred
• Basic experience with SAP Business Objects/Web Business Intelligence reporting systems or similar reporting/BI platform preferred
• Experience with standard Microsoft Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
• Ability to develop solutions to a variety of problems, potentially creating or revising company or department policies in the process.

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in field relevant to job description (e.g. Operations, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering), or equivalent job experience.
• 2 years’ experience in supply chain, business analytics, operations, production planning or related field.
• APICS/ ISM certification, or similar preferred.
