Job Overview:
Wingtips Lounge is searching for a Food Service Worker who can assist with food preparation, food setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables. A good food service worker will have an eye for proper food presentation, ability to ensure clean and sanitary equipment and work stations, and always be looking for ways to improve processes.
English mandatory, additional language(s) a plus. Must be professional and well-kept, well-groomed with no visible tattoos, facial piercings or extreme makeup. Must possess a positive attitude and solution-oriented thought process.
Full and part-time shifts available. This position reports directly to the General Manager.
Customer Service Expectations:
With a large amount of customer contact, the Food Service Worker must be helpful, friendly, courteous and professional. Must possess the ability to communicate with customers and fellow employees and serve as a team player under all types of conditions.
Every guest contact begins and ends with your smile. Sharp and professional business etiquette is required. Uniform is mandatory; partial uniform provided.

Requirements ● Exigences Job Responsibilities:
• Cook, prepare and replenish food as necessary.
• Operates a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain, season and knead foodstuffs for cooking, serving and storing.
• Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
• Oversee and assist with the appearance of food displays.
• Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
• Brews coffee and tea.
• Assist in serving food to customers during high volume periods.
• Prep for the next day by replenishing supplies and restocking food for morning shift.
• Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
• Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
• Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area at all times.
• Safely and carefully receive and transport food deliveries into the lounge.
• Transmit work instructions and specifications received from supervisor to other workers.
• Take inventory of supplies as needed.
• Adhere to proper food safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned with classification. Required to abide by all health codes mandated by the health department.
• Must adhere to department policies & procedures.
• Interacts with customers in the serving and dining areas.
• Assists customers with opening containers and cutting food when requested.
• Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
• Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
• Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess at least a High School Diploma/GED equivalent
• Must pass a drug test/background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance
• Must be able to lift 50-pounds and stand for a minimum of 8-hour shift
• Customer service and interpersonal communication skills preferred
• Must be available and have a willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Long hours may sometimes by mandatory.
• Food handler’s permit/certification preferred
